Most Samsung product have one-year warranty from buying date. This is for mobile phones, tablets, TV and more. If your device have problem because of factory mistake or part is not working well, then warranty can fix or replace it. But if you drop phone, put in water, or try to repair from shop not allowed by the company, then warranty not help.
For big appliance like fridge or washing machine, the company sometimes give more long warranty, some parts can have for 10 year. But it is better to check your product paper or visit Samsung website, because every product and country have different rules.

If you want longer protection, you have some option. Samsung Care+ give more coverage for mobile, tablet and watch. It also cover accident damage and give longer time of service. Some shops also give extra warranty when you buy product, so ask them. Also, if you buy with good credit card, some cards give free extra warranty.
This warranty is good way to protect your device from unexpected problem. But you must know what it cover and what it not. Always register your product, keep your receipt safe, and read your warranty paper. If you want full peace of mind, think about getting Samsung Care+ or extended warranty from other company.
